Lady Master Portia
with Saint Germain, April 19, 2009
Portia is my name and you associate it with the title of the Goddess
of Justice. Yet, as with all those who have spoken before me, I am
MORE. For indeed, my beloved, you may think that justice is a serious
matter, and thus, you may not associate any joy with justice. But,
as you have just experienced the joy of your previous exercise, I
can assure you that there is much joy in the office of the Goddess
of Justice. For in reality, I truly am not the Goddess of Justice—I
would like to give you the image that I am the Goddess of Balance,
my beloved.
For what is the universal symbol for justice? Is it not the scales.
And so, I come to give you a new perspective on what it means to manifest
true healing, my beloved. It is absolutely – and I deliberately say
absolutely – necessary to come to a higher understanding of the concept
of justice. For only when one fully understands justice can one be
free.
Is it not so, my beloved, that the earthly concept of justice is extremely
dualistic? For, does it not contain the concept that when you have
made an error or some kind of crime, you need to be punished, perhaps
by being put in jail. And only when you have – according to some measure
that few understand – been punished “enough,” can you be let out and,
so-to-speak, be free.
And so, it might seem, my beloved, that for every wrong a punishment
must be meted out in order for the soul to be free. And you do, indeed,
see so many people on Earth, my beloved, who think that if they get
ill, they must have done something to deserve it. And therefore, their
illness is somehow God’s punishment.
The real God does not judge you
You see [people] who condemn others, feeling they must somehow be
bad people—that God is punishing them. But the underlying belief is,
as this messenger was inspired to explain, that people have created
a false image of God. They think that God is the ultimate judge who
sits up in heaven, looking down upon you with a stern expression on
his face, scratching his long beard, ready to condemn you for any
mistake you make. Especially, my beloved, the blasphemy, so-called,
of disobeying the earthly church that claims to represent that remote
God in the sky.
And yet, despite the fact that you have been brought up to fear God
– so through that outer fear you obey the earthly institution and
its hierarchy – despite that fact, they also want you to believe that
this God is good. And so, a good God, then, could not possibly cause
people to be sick. And thus, it will only make sense that people are
sick as a punishment for some wrong they have done.
They must have done something wrong, for God could not have made the
mistake of creating a world where there is sickness, disease and illness
and death. And so, you see the concept of justice, as it is commonly
seen on Earth, is intricately linked to this false concept of the
external, judgmental God.
Did not Jesus say that his father judges no man, for he has left all
judgment to the Son? The Son is the Christ consciousness. The Christ
consciousness is One, it is Oneness. It is meant to enable all self-aware
beings with free will to experiment with their free will freely. For
no matter how far they might descend into a lower state of consciousness,
they can, at any moment, reach for the Christ. And the Christ will
then help them free themselves from that limiting state of consciousness.
That is the true meaning of Christ the Redeemer.
And so, the Christ does not judge the way human beings judge. But
the Christ is simply that immovable rock, the same yesterday, today
and forever in the sense that the Christ consciousness is always in
oneness with its source, with the Divine Father, with its Creator.
And so, the judgment of the Christ consciousness is to separate oneness
from division, to separate those who are committed to oneness and
the consciousness of oneness from those who are still attached to
and not willing to give up the illusion of separation.
Both crime and punishment spring from duality
You see, my beloved, in terms of the concept of crime, it is only
possible to commit any kind of crime or atrocity when one is identified
with a separate self. For what is a crime? It is doing something that
benefits one’s self while hurting others. And so, obviously it cannot
be based on oneness that seeks to raise up all life. And so, you see,
then, that crime can only spring from the duality consciousness. And
yet what you see on Earth is that the concept of how to deal with
crime also springs from the duality consciousness.
And therefore, the human concept of justice is indeed a perversion
of Divine Justice, which, as I said, should really be conceived of
as balance—the balanced scales that are not pulled in either direction.
Which directions am I talking about? The two extremes of duality,
my beloved, where if one side of the scales is heavier, you are pulled
towards one extreme. If the other side is heavier, you are pulled
towards the other extreme. For example, some might be heavier on the
scale of so-called selfishness, and they are therefore weighted down
towards the extreme that people will call evil. But as Nada just explained,
many have taken on an outer appearance of service, but they do it
in order to serve the separate self and seem good. And they would
then put weight on the opposite side of the scale.
Many people think that if you have committed evil in the past, even
in a past life, and your scale is pulled down to one side, that if
you commit good in this life, you will put weight on the opposite
side of the scale and you will gradually balance them. But you see,
my beloved, you may commit many good acts and raise up the other side
of the scale, but you cannot hold it in balance. You cannot hold the
balance, the scale will immediately begin to move down on the other
side, until you have another unbalanced situation. For you are now
moving from the extreme of relative evil to the opposite extreme of
relative good, which is not God-good, because it is not unconditional
good.
There is, of course, no unconditional evil, my beloved. And that is
why, in order to balance the scales, you must empty both cups, so
that you have no conditions on either side—neither the side of relative
evil, nor the side of relative good.
God does not want you to be punished
And so, my beloved, what you need to understand here is that in order
to experience the fullness of healing in your four lower bodies, you
must look this consciousness straight in the eye and see it for the
illusion that it is. It is, my beloved, a complete illusion that God
wants you to be punished for having made a mistake. It is a complete
illusion that by suffering, you can somehow compensate for your own
sins, or the sins of others, even the sins of humankind. It is a complete
illusion that the spilling of the blood of Christ on the cross compensated
for the sins of all of humankind.
God is – as has now been explained from six different perspectives
– God is unconditional. An unconditional God does not require you
to be punished in order to be free of a past mistake. The unconditional
God knows that any mistake you have made is made because the real
you, the conscious self, has come to identify itself with or as one
of the roles that have been created on Earth out of the duality consciousness.
Whatever mistake you made was an expression of the state of consciousness
you were in at the time.
But God knows you are MORE, for you are an extension of God’s own
Being. And so, what is God’s only desire? That you come back into
oneness with who you are, re-establish your true sense of identity,
and therefore can say, as this messenger has explained to several
people, “I did not make that error in the past. For I was a different
person back then. The person I was when I made the error, I have allowed
that sense of self to die. I have been reborn and I am now a new being
in Christ.” This, of course cannot be faked.
I am not hereby saying that people do not need to take responsibility
and see that the reason they were in a certain state of consciousness
was that they made certain choices, and therefore they can only be
free of that state of consciousness by neutralizing – by going beyond,
by transcending – those past choices. But when you are willing to
go beyond, when you are willing to let the old man die and put on
the new man, well then you must come to that point of recognizing
that you are reborn, you are a new person. And therefore, you did
not make the mistake, or the sin, or the error, or the crime or whatever
it may be of the past. And therefore, what sense does it make that
if you did not commit the crime, you should still bear the punishment?
Do you see, my beloved, the only way to be free of a certain state
of consciousness is to let the old sense of self die and be reborn
into a new sense of self? And then you do become a new being—your
identity has shifted, you are reborn. Therefore, the concept of sin
– the concept of karma that you must carry with you for a certain
amount of time, until you have suffered enough or given enough violet
flame, or done whatever else you might deem of as some kind of compensation
– well that concept can only spring from the duality consciousness.
And therefore, the more you strive, the harder you strive to compensate
for the past error, the more you confirm the reality of the separate
self. And the more you prolong the life of that separate self, for
it can only exist as long as you give it life energy through your
sense of identity of being a person who deserves to be punished, perhaps
by bearing a physical illness.
There is no external God who is punishing you through karma, sin,
illness or whatever it might be. We have explained it before, but
I will explain it again. Any condition you face in the material universe
is the outpicturing of a mental image that you are projecting on the
white screen of the Ma-ter light. That image exists only in your consciousness.
It is like the film strip in the movie projector, and the light is
the light of your I AM Presence, streaming through the film strip
in your four lower bodies. When you truly change your consciousness,
you change the filmstrip, and thus you change the image that the light
is passing through. And my beloved, if you change the filmstrip in
a movie projector, do you not then also change the image on the screen?
Please answer, that I know you have seen the point. [Audience answers:
YES.]
Change your mind in order to change your body
And so, should you not, then, also begin to at least contemplate that
if you truly change your consciousness, you will also change your
physical body and any condition in it. For that condition can only
be a projection upon the Ma-ter light of a mental image. And as the
movie screen itself is not changed by the movie being projected upon
it, neither is the Ma-ter light. And thus, you can instantly change
the image on the screen by changing the film strip in the projector,
and you can instantly change the manifestation in your physical body
by changing the image in your mind.
This is an absolute truth, my beloved, but it is extremely difficult
for human beings to accept it. Because they are so used to looking
at the material world through the filter of the separate self, which
believes that matter is solid, unchangeable, permanent.
And why does the separate self believe this? Because the separate
self is created out of the same frequencies as the material universe,
and thus, to the separate self, to the ego, matter is unchangeable.
You have heard of the concept of mind over matter—well, the ego can
never have power to change matter. For that of the same vibration
cannot change something else in the same frequency spectrum. A lower
vibration cannot be changed by a lower vibration. A lower vibration
can be changed only by being accelerated by a higher vibration. And
so, where is the higher vibration to come from? Well, from your I
AM Presence, but how is it going to descend into the physical body?
It must descend through your four lower bodies, including what represents
the physical body, which is your conscious mind.
Why do some people come to Lourdes and are healed, while others are
not healed? Well, as Mother Mary said, those who are healed can make
the shift by the conscious mind, of coming to accept that the disease
can instantly disappear. It does not matter that they see this as
a miracle from God. What matters is that they believe in it to the
point, where they can shift their perception and accept the changeability
of matter.
Matter is infinitely changeable, but only when you are willing to
change the cause behind the effect of matter—namely the mental image,
the condition of the mind. Thus, my beloved, if you have the subtle
belief that your illness is a punishment for some error committed,
that you deserve the punishment, and that you need to suffer for a
time in order to be saved and go to heaven, well then how can you
accept that you can instantly be free of the illness? How can you
accept healing? How can you accept wholeness, my beloved?
