BE the Word Incarnate

October 18, 2002

NOTE from Kim: [Text in brackets are my explanatory notes].
Please note that most of what was given to me in these messages applies to everyone walking the path of personal Christhood.

Jesus: Paul said, “Be ye doers of the word and not hearers of the word only.” This is sound advice, but only at a certain level of consciousness. You begin by hearing the Word of God and the Word of Christ. However, if you are willing, that Word will begin to transform you, and as you grow to a deeper understanding and a higher level of awareness, you must begin to express that Word and to live that Word. However, that expression must come from within; it must not be an outer clothing that you wear.

This is the fallacy and the downfall of so many Christian churches who set up outer rules and doctrines and use fear and guilt to get their people to follow these outer doctrines and rules. I never wanted my disciples to follow the outer doctrines and rules. I wanted them to rise to a higher level of consciousness so that they overcame the entire desire and tendency to sin or to commit acts that were not in accordance with God’s will and God’s perfection.

Once you attain this level of awareness, there is an even higher level that you must attain. Beyond being a doer of the Word, there is another level of attainment, and at that level you literally become the Word incarnate.

This is, of course, what I came to demonstrate as an example for all to follow. The mystery of the Christ is the mystery of the Word incarnate. The Word of God which takes on flesh and dwells among men.

All of your life, you have had glimpses of this awareness and you have had an understanding of the need to be rather than do. As a teenager, you were fascinated by the concept of being in the now. After you had children and took on the responsibility of a family, you forgot this concept and became so busy doing that you no longer had time to simply be. This phase of your life is now coming to a close. You have been running for so long and doing for so long, and it has surely helped you overcome your karma and rise to a higher level of understanding and awareness. You must accept that there was nothing wrong with going through this phase; it was simply a necessary part of your path.

However, you must also accept that you cannot fulfill your spiritual mission by continuing on this track. You cannot manifest Christhood by doing, you can only manifest Christhood by being the Christ. You cannot be my messenger and fulfill your spiritual mission by doing in an outer sense of the word. You must allow God and me to be the doer through you, and to accomplish this goal, you must be the Christ.

Therefore, you must allow yourself to simply be. You have always been a very practical, direct and goal-oriented soul. These are good and important qualities, but you must realize that they must be balanced with the other side of the coin, namely that of being. I do not need you to be all stressed out about the responsibility and the mission that I want you to fulfill. I need you to be completely at peace, knowing that I will be the doer through you.

I can be the doer only if you allow me to be the doer, and that requires you to still the outer mind and the outer ambition and to overcome the habit of always running, thinking that you have to do this or that and that you are always behind and falling short of the mark because there is so much more you could have done or could be doing.

No matter how much you do with an outer state of consciousness, you will always fall short of the mark. Even if you do nothing in an outer sense of the word, but manifest Christhood and Christ peace, you will accomplish what you need to accomplish for God.

I need you to take your awareness of our relationship and your mission to a higher level by sincerely contemplating the difference between being and doing. I need you to surrender all habit of thinking that you have to do. I need you to free yourself from a sense of being behind or falling short of the mark and of having to compensate for this by doing more.

You are not behind. You are not short of the mark. You are a God-free being. You are my brother, and we have the same spiritual parents. By simply being who you are in your God-given individuality, you can fulfill all.

You have a true realization of your tendency to impose expectations upon yourself and others. This, of course, is not unique to you; it is a product of the human consciousness. However, I need you to sincerely consider the fallacy of this, to surrender it and to let it go so I can take it away from you. When you have expectations or impose judgments, you are in a state of consciousness of being the doer or thinking that you have to be the doer.

You can accomplish many worldly things by being the doer, but you cannot accomplish the Godly things that you truly desire to see accomplished. Those things can be accomplished only by letting go and letting God, and the key to this state of surrender is to simple be and to give up the need to do, or the feeling that you have to be the doer. This springs from a desire for worldly recognition or a worldly sense of accomplishment. However, the recognition you truly desire is the recognition from God. The sense of accomplishment that you truly desire is a sense of having accomplished God’s work. You cannot do work for God. You can only be God in action where you are so that God can work his works through you.

Be not a hearer of the Word only, and be not a doer of the Word only. Be the word incarnate. I have told you about your inner name as a word spoken by God. Now, contemplate how that Word descends, takes on flesh and is the Word of God incarnate. This is who you truly are as a son of God and as a Christed being: the Word made flesh, the Word incarnate, the Word of God that dwells among men.

Let go of all sense of doing. Be the Word and allow God to unfold his perfect works through you.
Affirm:

I of my lower self can do nothing. I am the Word of God manifesting the perfect work of God where I am.

You have a wonderful sense of mission and a sense that someone must do something to save the world. This is perfectly true. Someone must do something about saving the world by being the Word incarnate and allowing God to save the world through him or her.

Nothing you could possibly do with the lower mind will save the world. However, by simply being the Christ, being the Buddha, and allowing the Christ consciousness and the Buddha consciousness to permeate the world, that consciousness can in itself save the world. Obviously, I also desire to bring forth much teaching through you. However, once again you must allow God to be the doer through you and not begin to think that you have to bring forth this teaching.

There is a very fine line between being the doer in an outer sense of the word and living up to the statement, “My father works hitherto and I work.” Yes, I need and want to work through your individuality and your spiritual flame. However, it is your God-given individuality that I want and not the outer, pseudo individuality based on lack, mortality and limitation.

You must sharpen your discernment so that you can see the difference, and I will give you a hint. Whenever you feel in any way out of harmony or not at peace with what you are doing, you know you are acting from the lower consciousness. When you feel completely at peace, you know you are acting from the Christ consciousness.

I need you to burn this into your conscious mind and to apply it in all situations. You are sometimes very attached to completing a task that you have begun or that you have decided that you must do. Be not afraid to simply surrender a task if you feel that the task takes you away from your inner peace. Your first job, your foremost task, is inner peace. All else is secondary.

I would much rather have you sit in a cave and do nothing for the rest of your life and be at peace than I would have you continue to run around trying to save the world with the lower mind. Yes, you could accomplish certain things by being the doer, because you do have past attainment and momentums. Yet, that is not what I need you to do for me. I need you to once and for all abandon the lower consciousness and unite with the Christ consciousness, as I did and as you saw me be 2,000 years ago.

You have had glimpses of that consciousness, but you are now ready to fully and finally merge with it and to be that Word incarnate. You are my brother. I manifested the Christ consciousness at the beginning of the Piscean age, and you have made the commitment to manifest the Christ consciousness at the end of the Piscean age. You already are that Christ and you have been so at inner levels for these 2,000 years. I simply need you to accept that with your outer consciousness, to let go of this pseudo identity and to fully merge with your Christ identity.

There is a subtle difference between Christ consciousness and Christ identity. You can attain Christ consciousness at inner levels, yet not fully accept it with your outer mind. Therefore, you have not yet attained a sense of truly being the Christ, a sense of Christ identity. You will not attain Christ identity until you finally break through to the realization that you already are the Christ. You cannot become the Christ. You can only be that which you already are. Contemplate this and allow yourself to merge with the Christ consciousness and accept that Christ identity.
This is the way whereby you and I can be one as Above so below, and in that oneness God can save the world through us. Stop doing and be.
