Let
us reason together
September 1, 2002
NOTE from Kim:
[Text in brackets are my explanatory notes].
Please
note that most of what was given to me in these messages applies to
everyone walking the path of personal Christhood.
Jesus: Remember the saying: “Come now, and let us reason
together, saith the LORD” [Isaiah 1:18]. This is how you must
teach others. Help them reason through their Christ self. Loving Truth
is the perfect flame for this. Affirm:
I consecrate this
activity to Christ victory, and I see only Christ perfection.
Part of your mission is to
restore my original teaching and express it in a modern context. This
will give you many enemies, but also win you many friends. Be nonattached
to both. I am your truest friend, and I will not let you down. We are
more than friends; we are brothers.
To restore my teaching, you must study what is happening in Christianity
today. We need to reach out to those who have ears to hear, and you
need to understand where they are in consciousness.
You are too attached to material things, including getting a new computer.
Think about your past and how you sometimes acted like you could never
get enough of certain things. It is not the things that matter, but
the attitude with which you use what you have.
Be more grateful for what you have. Use it to the best of your ability,
and never allow yourself to feel that you cannot serve me because you
do not have money or material things. Your true mission is spiritual.
How could material things limit a spiritual mission? If you think they
can, it shows that you have not fully understood the true nature of
a spiritual mission and that you have not accepted your spiritual nature.
Spiritual energies are above material energies. Seek first the kingdom
of God and his energy, and all material energies shall be subject to
your command.
Go hunting this year [I grew up in a family of hunters and did hunt
for most of my life], but be very mindful to overcome your attachment
to this activity. It has helped you mature in this life, but the true
lesson you need to learn from it is non-attachment. Nature is the deciding
factor in hunting. Therefore, do right action, and be nonattached to
the material results. Learn to enjoy the activity itself regardless
of the material results. This is what you must cultivate instead of
playing the numbers game as you have done so much. Who cares about the
material results when you know you have a spiritual mission?
In my previous embodiments, I sometimes enjoyed hunting and other sports.
It is not wrong as long as you remain nonattached. Do not allow it to
steal your harmony and do not spend too much energy on it. Enjoy it
while it lasts. You will not always have time or opportunity [that has
certainly proven true].
Be at peace with the move to Utah [my wife and I lived in Utah from
1997 to 2003, and I often wondered why we were directed to move there].
It was mainly for Lorraine's karma, but you also needed to learn from
being among Mormons [we were not Mormons and felt like outsiders]. Many
of them are good people, and they have some true teachings. However,
they do not have the only true church, and they have not restored my
teaching [two of the core beliefs of Mormonism]. You are right about
the gold plates—they never existed. Why would I write on gold
plates when I can write through people, as I am doing with you now,
or speak through messengers as you are well aware? What do the plates
prove or disprove—nothing.
Mormonism also contains many subtle beliefs that are anti-Christ and
cause people to close their hearts and minds to me. This must be exposed,
but for now we have bigger fish to catch. The growth of Mormonism shows
you that millions of souls are hungry for my true teaching. When they
cannot find it, they will settle for a surrogate, such as Mormonism
or even worse ones.
We must fill this void. The book The
Inner Path of Light is a major first step [at the time that
was the only book], but much more can be done as you grow in acceptance
of who you are, namely the brother of Jesus Christ. I understand your
concern about being ridiculed. It is not my intention to see you ridiculed.
But you must work at gaining nonattachment to whether or not you are
ridiculed by others. Simply let these concerns fall from you. You surrender
them, and I will do the rest.
Burn this into your mind:
I surrender, and
Jesus does the rest.
Believe this, surrender and
fully accept your freedom. Do you know that without your support at
critical moments 2,000 years ago, I could not have fulfilled my mission?
This is true. Therefore, you must believe that I will support your mission
today.
Your mission is crucial, and if you do not succeed, there is little
hope that people will ever understand my mission and teaching. I do
not want that to happen, and you must accept that I will support you
as long as you let God be the doer and surrender your all to God. Lose
your life for my sake, and you truly shall find the life you have always
wanted. I only want to see you achieve that which has been your deepest
soul desire for more than 2,000 years, namely to set God’s people
free.
This is the time for our mission to come to fruition. Let us be what
we truly—are as above so below.
Affirm:
As above in Jesus,
so below in me!
Burn this into your mind
and use it to dispel all imperfections.
