The essential challenge of spiritual communities

Kim: Jesus, in our last discussion you talked about people who are attracted to the spiritual path because they want to expand their already inflated self-esteem. Since I first became aware of spiritual organizations (about 30 years ago), I have noticed these people, and I have always wondered why they are on the spiritual path. What I mean is that virtually all spiritual teachings and masters talk about total humility and about overcoming the ego. So why is it that spiritual teachings seem to attract people who actually become more prideful as a result of being involved with a spiritual organization?
In every spiritual teaching I have seen, there is always a group of people who seem to have as their main motivation to make themselves look better than other people. They don’t really want to find answers because it seems like they think they already know everything. In fact, I have found that many of these people are highly critical of the organization they are in, the spiritual leader of that organization, other members, non-members and even the masters or God. They seem to think they know best what the masters should say and how they should say it.
It always surprised me that these people were in an organization if they were so critical of everything. But it makes sense as you said that they want to impress others and be seen as advanced students. I have found that such people are very difficult to work with and it often seems impossible to help them see that their behavior is not constructive for their own growth (let alone other people’s growth). Is there any way to help such people?

Jesus: I don’t know. If you find one, let me know.

I assume you are joking?

Not really. For a very long time the Ascended Host have been trying to find ways to help such lifestreams grow. Quite frankly, we have had only limited success. The biggest concern with such lifestreams is how to help them see that they need help, that they don’t know everything. They are very reluctant to accept the advice of a teacher, be it one in embodiment or an ascended teacher. These lifestreams are generally turned around only when they experience such a severe crisis that they hit absolute bottom and cry out for deliverance. They are then willing to accept help for a time, until they get out of the crisis. Yet as soon as they begin to regain some sense of being in control of their lives, their pride often comes back and they now go back to thinking they know everything. They might remain in the spiritual teaching that helped them, but they often turn rather critical or overbearing toward it and the leader of the organization.

At that point they often begin to follow the outer path of seeking to use the teaching to glorify their egos rather than stepping up to the inner path of using the teaching to overcome their egos. We might say that they remain trapped in the “spirit of vain competition” that springs from the fact that they project their own world view upon God. They think that God has conditional love (as they do themselves) and thus loves some of his sons and daughters more than others. So they think that if they make themselves look better – in this case more spiritually advanced – than other people, they will find favor with God. They think God’s love – and thus salvation – is conditional based on outer criteria.

Okay, that certainly is in line with my observations, but here is something I can’t understand. There seems to be some of these people who have a great interest in the spiritual path. They seem to have great attunement and they often have what seems like genuine spiritual experiences. In fact, these people seem to be far more advanced in some ways than the rest of us. They seem to be – or they behave like they are – in a class of their own. What is the cause of this? How can these people have such knowledge of the path and such seeming attunement with the masters, yet they cannot see the need to overcome the ego or they are not willing to let go of it. In other words, how come these people are so quick to discover the path yet so reluctant to truly follow it?

Well, the short answer is that these people are identified with the consciousness of anti-christ at a very deep level. As I explained in a previous discussion, the consciousness of anti-christ can easily recognize the consciousness of Christ. Thus, such people can have a very detailed intellectual understanding of the spiritual side of life and they often know a spiritual teaching very well, as did the scribes and Pharisees.

Yet when people are identified with the consciousness of anti-christ, they do not want to come into union with the Universal Christ and thereby become the Living Christ. That is why such people are in a spiritual organization to boost their egos. So they never quite engage in the organization on an equal level with others. They always seek to keep their distance and maintain an air of superiority, perhaps forming small cliques with people of like mind.

But how did such lifestreams come to be identified with the consciousness of anti-christ at this a deep level you are talking about?

To explain this, we need to go into a teaching that Mother Mary briefly discussed in one of her discourses, when she talked about the fall of Lucifer and other angels. The basic fact you need to know is that there are two types of lifestreams embodying on Earth:

  • God first created a number of lifestreams that were designed to serve in the spiritual realm. This is what most people call angels. These beings were created at a certain level of the world of form, and they were not meant to descend to a lower level. They still had free will and they had the opportunity to rise to a higher level (unless they were created at the highest level). Yet they were designed to have a very high level of spiritual awareness and they did not have to work to obtain this. They were, so to speak, created with a high degree of mastery and they did not have to earn this mastery.

Yet it is essential to understand that even these beings were not created with a sense of complete oneness with the Creator. As all individualized beings, they were created with an individual sense of identity, and at first they saw themselves as being apart from God while being part of God’s creation. As they grew and expressed their creative powers, they would ideally develop a sense of complete oneness with the Creator, thereby solving the enigma that an individualized being is out of – and thus one with – the Creator and with all life.

This point is missing from most of the teachings on angels found on this planet, which is why many people cannot understand that angels could fall. They can fall if they fail to solve the enigma of individuality and thus use their creative powers to separate themselves more from God and from other parts of life (meaning beings on their own level). In other words, Lucifer used his creative powers to set himself apart from other angels and he then engaged in a fear-based quest to raise himself and his followers above others.

  • As God created succeeding levels of the world of form, God would, for each new level, create beings that were designed to start at the lower level and work their way up. In other words, these beings were created with a low degree of mastery, and they had to earn it. They could do so only by transcending themselves.

Why did God create two types of beings? Mainly because life is about growth, and God’s design gives both types of lifestreams the maximum opportunity to grow. Yet part of the reason is a certain necessity. When God created the first level of the world of form, as Mother Mary explains in greater detail in her new book, there was nothing else. In other words, the beings he created first did not have the option of starting at a lower level and working their way up. They were created at the highest level of individualized God awareness, yet they were not above learning and growing. They would grow by first helping God co-create their own level and filling it with light.

When one level of creation was filled with light, the Creator would expand his creation to encompass more of the void. This new level had a lower level of awareness and at first had no structures. These would then be co-created by the beings on the higher level. When the new level had a platform for life, self-conscious beings were created for that level, beings that were designed to “start at the bottom and work their way up in their father’s company.” Yet these beings were not created “out of nothing.” They were created as individualizations of some of the Beings in the higher realm, namely those who had attained complete mastery of that level of creation and complete oneness with their Creator.

In other words, we might say that when a Being has resolved the enigma of individuality and has attained oneness with God, it can co-create in a higher way. Instead of just creating inanimate forms, it can create individualizations of itself and send them into a lower level of the world of form. As these beings grow, the greater being out of which they came also grows, and thus all life progresses.

When the “descending” beings have been created and have descended, they are assigned beings from the higher realm who serve as their spiritual teachers. These beings are the ones who have not yet attained complete mastery of their level. Thus, by serving those below them, they receive a unique opportunity to grow further in their sense of oneness with all life, leading to oneness with the Creator.

Lucifer had not yet attained oneness with the Creator, and he was assigned to serve as a spiritual teacher for beings in the material realm. Yet he rebelled against this task, and here is why. When a being from a lower level has obtained mastery – has ascended to the consciousness of the next higher level – then the beings at that higher level will be required to not only help them grow but to actually serve under them. In other words, the roles will be reversed and the teacher will now become the disciple, the Lord will become the servant. Take note that this does not mean that the beings from the higher realm were required to descend to the lower level—they were only meant to serve those who had ascended from that level.

This was done as the ultimate test of love and humility for the beings at the higher level. By serving to raise up others and then being willing to serve under them, you demonstrate that you are committed to raising all life, not just yourself. It is a system that has been tested and tried for eons and it has generally worked very well, teaching both the beings from the higher realm and the ones from the lower realm. The role reversal helps lifestreams develop the essential characteristic of spiritual growth, namely a sense of oneness with all life, leading to oneness with God the Creator in all its manifestations.

Yet there have been exceptions to the success of the system, and for this system of worlds, the most notable one was the fall of Lucifer. He was not willing to help unascended beings ascend because he did not want them to become his masters after they ascended. He wanted to hold on to the position he had created for himself in Heaven, a position which he – trapped as he was in a fear-based sense of separation – thought was above that of other angels. Instead of flowing with the River of Life, Lucifer created an elaborate philosophy stating that the Creator was wrong for giving free will to unascended man, thereby giving them the possibility of becoming lost in the material universe (at that point no unascended lifestream had actually become lost).

The real problem with Lucifer’s rebellion was that he separated himself – in consciousness – from the other beings at his level. You see, even the higher levels move on as a critical mass of beings at a given level attain oneness with God. We might say that at that point, a purging must occur, and those who have not yet attained oneness with God must either come up higher or descend to a lower level.

Lucifer was behind those at his level in oneness—even though he believed he was above them. He could have overcome this illusion by serving unascended beings, but when he refused to do so, he crossed a dividing line. He now descended into a lower level of consciousness, which meant that he could no longer remain in the spiritual realm. You will inevitably be attracted to the level of vibration that corresponds to your consciousness, so Lucifer had to leave the spiritual realm and descend to the material universe.

Lucifer refused to serve man, and he managed to convince a large number of the beings who had served under him (for there is a hierarchical structure at any level of God’s creation) that he was right. These beings did not deliberately rebel against God, even though Lucifer and his main lieutenants did so. Instead, many believed in Lucifer’s philosophy that it was necessary for them to descend to the material universe in order to save man from himself, from becoming lost. Thus, many of these beings actually fell while believing they were doing the right thing, even serving God or doing God’s work in the process.

Since the fall of these angels, many of them have embodied on Earth. Some of the lifestreams embodying on Earth before the fall of the angels had started to descend into the duality consciousness. Yet they had not become fully lost in this consciousness, and in previous times other groups of lifestreams had pulled themselves back up because of the guidance of their ascended and embodied teachers. The important point here is that even though some people on Earth had descended into duality, they had not done so in deliberate rebellion against God or their teachers.

Yet when the fallen angels descended into the material universe, they started tempting unascended man into doubting their teachers, and this led to rebellion and a further descent. This caused some lifestreams to separate themselves to the point that they could no longer maintain contact with their ascended teachers nor maintain the memory of their spiritual origin. At that point these lifestreams became lost in the sense that they could no longer come back on their own accord. You see, no lifestream was meant to descend below the level of consciousness with which it was created. They were meant to start at that level and steadily grow from there.

Once you fall below your starting level, you cannot grow on your own but need the assistance and intercession of a teacher. Yet because you do not remember your origin, it can be difficult for you to accept the existence of spiritual teachers or accept their assistance. Again, you have a catch-22 that often causes such lifestreams to think they are not good enough to have an ascended teacher assist them. Such people often follow an outer, rigid and dogmatic religion that promises an automatic salvation or they follow the fallen angels in embodiment who seem far more advanced than themselves and also promise that people can be saved by following them.

Since the fall of the first angels, other angels have embodied in the material universe in order to help their fallen brothers and sisters come back. Yet some of these have also become trapped in the consciousness of separation. So we now see four reasons why the lifestreams that currently embody on Earth might have fallen:

  • They fell as part of the original fallen angels. They fell as a deliberate rebellion against God’s law, a rebellion springing from pride and the sense that they knew better than God. These beings maintain their sense of superiority after the fall, and they see themselves a vastly superior to the evolutions of man.

  • They fell as part of the original fallen angels. They fell by following their leaders, believing in their lie that they were on a mission to save man. Yet even these angels descended to Earth with a clear sense or superiority to unascended man.

  • They descended to Earth on a rescue mission to save the fallen angels and fell while here on Earth. Yet this fall was caused because they “fell” for the same consciousness as that of their brothers and sisters who had fallen from Heaven.

  • They were designed to embody on Earth and work their way up, and they fell from Earth.

No matter how or where a lifestream fell, the reason is the same. It started building a sense of identity based on the duality consciousness and thus separated itself from God. So to get back home – or to ascend – it must separate itself from that consciousness and to do that it must follow a true spiritual teacher and teaching.

This is an essential point that many spiritual seekers on Earth fail to understand. Once you have fallen, you simply cannot pull yourself up by your own bootstraps. You cannot use the consciousness of duality to overcome the consciousness of duality, to overcome your separate sense of identity. You can rise above duality only when you know there is something beyond duality, namely the Christ consciousness. And you can know this only when you receive a morsel of the Christ consciousness (thus the ritual of communion where you receive the body and blood of Christ—as a symbol for the consciousness of Christ).

The problem is that in order to follow a teacher, you must first admit that you have something to learn and you must admit that the teacher has something to give you (spiritual light/consciousness/understanding) that you do not have. Fallen man generally finds it easy to see this because the sense of superiority is not as strong (even though people’s egos can trip them up on this point). Yet for the fallen angels, this can be very difficult to admit because they sense that they are far superior to fallen man and thus above any of the teachings found on Earth.

In a sense this is correct in that the fallen angels started out at a much higher level of consciousness than man. Yet once the angels have fallen, they face the same road back as fallen man, and thus they are not above the teachings given on Earth. Yet because they think they are above man, they face a very difficult test of humility.

In order to begin the path of oneness – the path that even the fallen angels must follow – they have to pass the test of humility that they did not pass in the higher realm. They have to be willing to serve the evolutions on Earth. The catch is that because they have descended in consciousness, they not only have to serve ascended man, they actually have to serve unascended man. They also have to learn along with – and even from – unascended man. This is a severe test because these lifestreams fell they are “superior” to unascended man in that they came from a higher evolution. And if they have reinforced their sense of superiority during their embodiments, they have often imprisoned themselves in a catch-22. The very pride that caused them to refuse to serve ascended and unascended beings in/from Heaven makes it very difficult for them to serve unascended man from Earth. They simply will not submit, and thus they refuse to do the only thing that could possibly bring them back home.

Such people want to be the leaders in all areas of society, including spiritual organizations, and they feel entitled to such positions. They are often very capable of fulfilling such positions—but only seen from an outer perspective. The problem is that they always seek to use their positions to glorify their egos by controlling others. Thus, they have not understood my teaching that “He who would be greatest among you, let him be the servant of all.” He who is greatest is he who has the greatest humility. This springs from the supreme sense of realism that all life is one and thus true service is to seek to raise the All rather than one portion of the All (yourself).

My point is that such beings are allowed to enter spiritual organizations because it gives them their only opportunity to come back home (by serving the evolutions of man selflessly). However, it also gives man an opportunity to undo the choices that caused them to fall for the temptation of the serpent. So, everyone has an opportunity to learn.

Once a lifestream has descended to the material universe, it can ascend back only by following the path outlined for this universe. Yet the beings who fell from above often feel superior to any spiritual teaching given on this Earth. Thus, they don’t think they need to submit themselves to the elements of the path designed to remove the ego through humility. So instead of following the path with total commitment, they follow the outer teaching – which reminds them of home – while using it to build their superiority over the human evolutions belonging to that teaching.

We might say that the fallen angels fell before they had developed a human ego, so they developed a higher form of ego that feels superior to anything human. Thus, it is more difficult to give up the ego while on Earth, where you don’t see anything higher than the “super-ego.” The ego always feels superior, so an essential part of the path is that the Conscious You begins to see through this ego-illusion of superiority. This often necessitates that the person sees something or someone who seems to be beyond his/her own ego. Yet if your ego was created in a higher realm, you are less likely to find anything on Earth that challenges your ego’s claim to superiority. Thus, such lifestreams find it far more difficult to break their illusion of superiority and without breaking it, how can they abandon the path of separation and start the path of oneness?

We might say that there are two paths to follow. The path that seems right unto a man – but the ends thereof are the ways of death – is the path of separation. This is the path where you seek to use a spiritual teaching to glorify your ego and set yourself up as being more important than others. The more your ego uses a spiritual teaching to build the sense of superiority, they more you sink into the consciousness of separation. The true path is the path of moving out of separation and into oneness.

The path of oneness has two aspects, the Alpha aspect of oneness with God and the Omega aspect of oneness with all life here below. When fallen man has been awakened, it is relatively easy for them to accept that they need to strive for oneness with God because they don’t feel superior to God. Likewise, they don’t feel fundamentally superior to other men, so they can also strive for oneness with them. They often find it difficult to strive for oneness with the fallen angels, whom they feel are superior to themselves. Thus, whether you feel you are superior to others or they are superior to you, the sense of superiority always prevents oneness. There can be true oneness only when everyone is seen as being of equal value because everyone is an individualization of God. Thus, the fact that lifestreams have different origin or spiritual attainment does not prevent oneness when you see beyond the illusion of superiority.

For fallen angels the situation is fundamentally different because many of them actually do feel superior to God. And they obviously feel superior to man, so they find it difficult to strive for oneness with either one. The result is that they often cling fanatically and blindly to the outer path of glorifying the ego, as did the scribes and pharisees. They often seek company with other fallen angels, clinging together in small cliques, yet this only reinforces their sense of superiority and separation, getting them nowhere closer to coming home. These cliques often see themselves in competition with other groups of fallen angels, and this is responsible for much of the warring seen on Earth, including most religious wars.

So we might say that one of the major hurdles that must be overcome on this planet is the illusion that some lifestreams are superior to others, are of greater value than others. This entire consciousness is an aspect of the consciousness of separation, thus springing from the mind of anti-christ.

So is there any hope? How easy is it for lifestreams to separate themselves from this consciousness?

There is always hope when you look at the underlying reality that the lifestream was created out of God’s being and that nothing has damaged the lifestream's divine blueprint.

It is not that hard for the evolutions of man to separate themselves enough from the duality consciousness to discover the spiritual path, and they can often be led by competent spiritual teachers. Yet they do have to overcome all distrust of spiritual teachers, which requires them to develop the discernment between true and false teachers. Many of what I call false teachers are actually fallen angels who are trying to set themselves up as genuine spiritual teachers on Earth. When a lifestream follows such teachers, it will often lead to disappointment, and this reinforces the underlying problem of distrust of the teacher—which was introduced by the Serpent (and other fallen angels) in the Garden of Eden analogy.

The angels who descended on a rescue mission and fell from Earth can also overcome the illusion because they did not develop their egos in a higher realm. Some of the angels who fell from Heaven can see through their illusion of separation because they either followed their leaders or thought they were on a benign mission. Yet they must overcome the tendency to blindly follow leaders, which often plunges them into the state of doubting their leaders, much like man does. They must also admit that what they saw as a genuine mission for God was nothing but a smokescreen, and thus the lifestream has wasted thousands, if not millions, of years. This can be difficult to admit until you separate yourself from the ego and thus become willing to give up anything that sprang from the ego.

Of course, the leaders of the fallen angels knew that they were rebelling against God, so they had developed an ego in the spiritual realm that thought it was superior to the Creator. These beings find it very difficult to separate themselves from the sense of superiority. In fact, so far no such being has ascended. Those whose time was up have gone to the second death, where their egos were erased.

What would it take for fallen angels to return to God?

The same as for any other lifestream that has descended into the duality consciousness: Total surrender of the ego and a total commitment to the path of oneness. You see, there really is no fundamental difference between a fallen angel and a fallen man. Both fell by allowing the consciousness of anti-christ (which came into existence as an option when lifestreams were given free will) to enter their beings and create the ego. The difference is a difference in the degree to which the lifestream identifies with the ego. So for both, the path to redemption is the same. The difference is how difficult it is for the lifestream to choose the life of oneness over the death of separation.

How can a genuine spiritual seeker benefit from knowing about this?

By knowing that some of the people who are members and leaders of spiritual organizations are fallen angels, you can gain a different perspective on the purpose of religion. One aspect of this is that you can heal the wounds you have received by interacting with such people. You can understand that they are trapped in a ego-centered state of consciousness and thus you can forgive them for their manipulation in the past and avoid being manipulated in the future.

I assume you don’t want people to go around judging each other, setting up outer criteria for labeling people as fallen angels?

That is right; I don’t want people to judge and label each other, for when they do so they only envelop themselves more firmly in the duality consciousness. In fact, for people who are new to the spiritual path, it is generally better not to know about fallen angels. Yet as you grow in spiritual maturity, you will inevitably sharpen your discernment—if you don’t, you simply won’t grow. Thus, you will begin to observe certain patterns in the behavior of some people, and if you don’t know about the existence of other types of lifestreams, you will find it difficult to make sense of what you observe. For an advanced student, it is essential to know about the existence of fallen angels because it is the best way to avoid being drawn into their consciousness of following the false path.

As I have said, the true spiritual path is the path of oneness with God. This sense of oneness can be achieved only through the Christ consciousness. The Christ consciousness makes you “wise as serpents, harmless as doves.” In other words, it empowers you to discern between the lies of anti-christ and the truth of Christ yet it also helps you stay free of any judgment and negative feelings. You simply see that certain people are stuck in the consciousness of anti-christ. You see that what makes them what they are right now is the consciousness of anti-christ, focused in their egos. You also see beyond the ego to the spiritual being within. Yet you realize that as long as the spiritual being in imprisoned by the ego, you cannot come into oneness with such people. Thus, you must be wise and harmless in all dealings with such people.

You see, as long as people are trapped in the duality consciousness, the spiritual path will have certain characteristics that will seem contradictory. For example, I talk about a path of oneness with all life, but does that mean you have to feel one with those who are or act like fallen angels? At first this will seem contradictory, and for a beginning student the spiritual path will seem like a somewhat schizophrenic experience. Only when you grow in Christ discernment, will you be able to resolve the many seeming enigmas on the path.

For example, the real problem on Earth is that people have become stuck in the duality consciousness. The path is essentially a process of gradually growing out of identification with this consciousness of separation and coming to identify yourself as one with God and all that is in alignment with God’s vision. So we might say that as part of growing into Christhood, you need to separate yourself from the consciousness of anti-christ. In other words, the path of oneness does involve separation, which can seem confusing to the beginning student. Yet as you grow in Christhood, this confusion will be replaced by clarity and you will be able to take the middle way instead of going into one of the extremes.

What you need to know is that some of the people you meet in spiritual organizations have a fundamentally different approach to the spiritual path than you have. You need to learn to identify that some people are ego-driven. You then need to separate yourself from these people in consciousness, so they cannot pull you into playing their ego-games and using a spiritual teaching to justify doing so. However, to avoid this, you need to avoid going into an unbalanced reaction, such as being afraid of such people or thinking you are in opposition to them.

This can best be done by recognizing the fact that walking the spiritual path requires you to face certain tests. Only when you pass a test can you move to a higher level of the path. Yet even then you might still encounter certain people because they are being given an opportunity to learn from your example. What I am saying here is that the fallen angels have been allowed by the Ascended Host to embody on Earth as an opportunity for themselves and for the evolutions of man.

Fallen men must learn to separate themselves from the consciousness of anti-christ, and this can be done by being around people in this state of mind. Fallen angels must be willing to come into oneness with other forms of life and develop the humility of learning from man as they grow toward Christ consciousness. In other words, both can learn from the interactions, and as long as there is the opportunity to learn, these lifestreams, even some of the most rebellious ones, will be allowed to embody on planet Earth. As humankind raises the collective consciousness, some of the fallen angels will no longer be allowed to embody here, and this is one of the ways in which the planetary consciousness is gradually purified.

When I said, “For judgment I am come,” I was referring to the fact that I came (among other things) to give certain fallen angels a last opportunity to turn around. Because they rejected me, they judged themselves and thus were no longer allowed to come back to Earth. Today, there is another group or band of fallen angels who face this final opportunity. Some of these lifestreams are the most power-hungry people on Earth and you often find them in positions of power. Adolph Hitler was a typical example of this type of lifestream.

Yet some of the fallen angels have taken on a disguise as being very spiritual people, perhaps even spiritual teachers (even Satan can appear as an angel of light). They are judged by interacting with sincere spiritual seekers without wanting to come into oneness with them and perhaps even seeking to deceive them into following the path of separation. My point being that in many spiritual organizations you do find these lifestreams. As a sincere seeker, you must develop the discernment to see through their games. Only by doing so will you be permanently free of the consciousness that caused you to fall and only then can you fulfill your role in interacting with such people.

That sounds interesting, what role do we have in interacting with fallen angels?

When you are trapped in the duality consciousness, you always see differences as the cause of conflict. So if people at this level hear about fallen angels, they will tend to respond with fear and they will want to either run away from such people or think they have to fight them. This is the flight or fight syndrome that Mother Mary talks about in her book. That is why the Ascended Host do not indiscriminately give out information about fallen angels and why it has taken three years for this website to reach the point where I can bring out this information.

I hope that visitors to this website are now ready to attain a higher understanding and a higher response to this topic. You see, God loves all of his sons and daughters—regardless of whether they have fallen into the duality consciousness. So God’s only concern is to help a lifestream come back home. God wants each lifestream, including each fallen angel, to have the best possible opportunity to choose the homeward path. Yet the main problem with fallen angels is that they have separated themselves from God and reject God’s unconditional love. They have projected a graven image upon God, and until that image is challenged, there is little chance of turning them around.

So the role of those who have reached the higher levels of personal Christhood is to serve as God’s emissaries in giving everyone they meet an opportunity to grow—including the fallen angels. How do you do this? It is a twofold action. One is the Alpha aspect which is to show people that their image of God is incorrect. In the case of the most power-hungry people, this means being absolutely immovable – by standing on the rock of Christ – so they see they cannot control you. You see, such power-hungry lifestreams are used to everyone bending to their misuse of power. The fallen angels find it relatively easy to control the evolutions of man, so their sense of control is rarely challenged.
The Omega aspect is that you demonstrate unconditional love to such people. (Refusing to let them control you is also unconditional love, although it is rarely seen that way. It is the Alpha aspect of unconditional love.) The fallen angels who are in spiritual organizations have been willing to control some of their self-centered tendencies, and they can often be helped when someone shows them the Omega aspect of unconditional love, meaning that you show them you love them no matter how they treat you.

As I said, everything on Earth is for a test. As a person walking the path to Christhood, you are always being tested, and that is why you too can learn from interacting with fallen angels. You need to be tested in your ability to stand firm on your inner direction, your communion with God, regardless of what others say. You need to be tested in your willingness to challenge the lies of anti-christ wherever they are found (such as overturning the tables of the money changers in your spiritual organization). And you need to be tested in your willingness to show unconditional love toward those who seek to harm you (Love your enemies, do good to those that harm you).

Do you see how the purpose of giving everyone an opportunity for growth can be served by allowing fallen angels to enter spiritual organizations? Obviously there is more to say about this, as will be given later, starting with the landmark dictation by Lord Maitreya.

Can you give us some guidelines for how to identify such people?

Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness (the Christ discernment) and all else shall be added unto you. You see, if I give a set of outer criteria, they can easily be misused into judging people based on outer behavior. It is rather difficult to identify a fallen angel based on outer behavior because even a human evolution can take on the consciousness of anti-christ and thus act based on separation. The ego is the ego is the ego, and it is different only in degree.

Furthermore, there are certain tests that people must face and conquer on their own. I can help people understand their tests, but I am not allowed to make it so easy for people that there is no test left. You see, your original fall was caused by you ignoring the instructions of your spiritual teacher and not seeing through the lies of the serpentine mind. Thus, to be free of the fall you must reverse the original decision to ignore the teacher and you must do so alone. I cannot be there with you and walk you through each step. It must be your test—which is why I had to leave my disciples behind for a time. Yet when you have striven sincerely to attain the discernment of the Christ consciousness, it will be relatively easy to see through the temptations given to you by those who are the embodied and disembodied representatives of anti-christ.

So what I hear you saying is that we should have no negative feelings toward anyone, even those who might seek to lead us astray or pull us into their ego games. Is that correct?

As you grow in Christ consciousness, you will overcome the tendency to judge based on the fear-based expectations of the ego. That is why I told people not to judge. As you gain Christ discernment, you judge in an entirely different way, and your judgment is now just. You simply identify that certain types of behavior is ego-driven and you rise above it without having negative feelings toward the person exposing you to it. You realize that as long as you are in embodiment, you are not above being tested. The most important test is the test of unconditional love. This love is not blind, but sees the shortcomings of other people’s egos while seeing that hiding behind the facade of the ego is the lifestream that God created.

We might also say that as you accept God’s unconditional love for you, that love will cast out your fear of fallen angels. As you gain Christ discernment you realize they cannot control you, so you have no reason to fear them. You see, no one can control you without your consent, and you only give your consent when you do not have the discernment to see through the lies and the manipulation of the mind of anti-christ.

Yet in many spiritual organizations the power-hungry people (I am not saying they are all fallen angels) have caused a lot of division and conflict. This has caused a lot of people to become hurt and even give up on all religion. How can that be in alignment with the goal of giving everyone an opportunity to grow?

Because everyone is being tested. If you let someone insult you and use this as a justification for giving up on the spiritual path, you do not have enough love for God and for your own growth. When you have that love, you will not let the ego – be it your own or the ego of anyone else – stand between you and your progress toward oneness with God. The first commandment is to have no other God’s before the real God. And when you let anything on Earth come between you and the path of oneness, you are making that something into a false God. If you let a fallen angel keep you from coming closer to God, you are making that lifestream into your graven image of God, and you now worship that image instead of the real God.

How can we avoid having the power-hungry people destroy our spiritual organizations?

The best advice for an advanced student is to focus on walking the path to oneness. You strive for inner/Alpha oneness with your Christ self, I AM Presence and ascended teachers. And you strive for outer/Omega oneness with your teachers and fellow students on Earth. You seek to create a community of genuine love where everyone is seeking oneness. As you overcome the consciousness of division and ego-games – by being willing to openly and lovingly expose them in yourself and others – those who will not let go of the ego will find it increasingly difficult to hide in your community. Thus, they will become uncomfortable and will eventually leave.

My point is that you do not actually need to go around judging or even evaluating other people and seek to label or confront them. You simply focus on creating a spiritual community dedicated to the path of oneness. Such a community must have open communication about everything, including the ego and its games. In several previous organizations we attempted to help people rise above their egos by giving teachings on this. Yet because the members of those organizations were not ready, they were not willing to openly talk about their own egos. Thus, because everyone was trying to protect their own egos, the people who were using the teachings to puff up their egos – including fallen angels – found it easy to hide and they would often appear to be advanced students.

Your challenge in the Shangra-la and the Guardians of the Mother Light is to create a spiritual movement with an openness about the ego and a commitment to oneness that has not been seen on Earth in recorded history. We will help you by giving you teachings about the ego and its many facets. But we will not do the work for you and thus it truly is up to you to abandon the outer path, where the ego can hide behind the facade of doing outer things. You must instead be totally committed to the inner path, where there is total openness in talking about the ego.

This creates total transparency and the ego cannot hide. When no person – including the leaders – is seen as being more important than any other, the ego-driven people will not have their goals fulfilled. And when they realize they cannot hide, they will leave. This will then give you an opportunity to create a new type of spiritual community where the ego and the ego-driven people cannot run the organization—as they have done in virtually every spiritual organization of the Piscean and earlier dispensations.

The essential key to the Aquarian age is community, but it must be a community that is based on freedom from the ego and its control games. And this requires total honesty, openness and humility. I realize this is a very great challenge, but with the teachings we have given and will continue to give you, you have the tools to make this a reality. And if you do so, you will truly set an important example for Earth. This will be an essential milestone in humankind’s progress. If you can attain this (knowing you are not the doers), you truly deserve credit, but because you can achieve the goal only by rising above the ego, you will not need to take credit. You will have the humility of knowing you have served well without letting it inflate the ego. You will then know the true consciousness of victory that is based on Christ reality and vision.

I truly look forward to working with those who will make the total
commitment to the path of oneness.
