Question: My Dear Beloved Jesus, I believe when I am able to reach your consciousness in my lifetime, that I will be able to perform miracles as you did. I try sometimes to tune in to my subconscious in order to move material objects with my mind but I have not yet been successful. Therefore, I believe the illusion must be more difficult to overcome than it appears to me. Because, it is obvious at least in my intellectual mind that I am a part of God and that God provides this illusion of separation as a precious gift.
But, because I have not been able to achieve the amount of attunement needed to alter matter with my thought, attention, and my will for it to be done. I feel it is evidence that I must be doing something wrong…. My reason for aspiring for the ability of telekinetics is so that I may show non-believers proof of the illusion as you did. I desire to become one with Christ Consciousness so that you may come further into the material world. Could you offer any specific tips to performing miracles?

Answer from Jesus:

You are correct that when you reach my state of consciousness, meaning that you manifest your individual Christhood as I did 2,000 years ago, you will be able to do the works that I did, as I promised in the Bible. However, what you overlook is that the essential key to performing miracles is to reach the Christ consciousness—not to use your mental powers. This is expressed in my saying:

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. (Matthew 6:33)

The kingdom of God is the Christ consciousness. Throughout the ages, many people have tried to use the power of the mind to create various material phenomena, from moving objects to bending spoons. Because the human mind is a powerful force, it is possible to use the mental power of the mind to create various simple phenomena. Yet most of these phenomena have little effect on improving the condition of life for individuals or humankind.

Unfortunately, most of the people who have been able to generate such phenomena have not had the spiritual maturity to use their abilities wisely. In other words, telekinetic abilities do not necessarily have anything to do with Christhood and the miracles performed by a Christed being. In fact, some of the people who have developed the ability to perform such feats did so without having any spiritual attainment whatsoever. Some of them are actually false teachers who use these visible phenomena to impress spiritual seekers who have not yet developed Christ discernment. This is expressed in my saying:

And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force. (Matthew 11:12)

When you attain Christ consciousness, you will not only achieve the power to perform what seems like miracles. You also attain the spiritual maturity that empowers you to know when to perform a so-called miracle and when not to do so. If you study my life, you will see that I did not always heal everyone who was sick. Nor did I indiscriminately perform miracles. I never produced useless phenomena but only works that would improve people’s lives.

You talk about your motivation being that you want to show non-believers proof. Yet I can assure you that no amount of phenomena will convince all non-believers. If you study the scriptures, you will see that I did not perform miracles in order to convert non-believers. On the contrary, I generally refused to comply with the temptations to show people a sign. For example, take the following teaching about those who lust after a sign:

1 The Pharisees also with the Sadducees came, and tempting desired him that he would shew them a sign from heaven.
2 He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red.
3 And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowring. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?
4 A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. And he left them, and departed. (Matthew, Chapter 16)

You will also learn from the scriptures that many of the people who did witness various miracles, or who were healed, were not actually converted to the spiritual path. They ended up leading a material lifestyle or they rationalized away what they had seen. That is why I said"

Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. (John 20:29)

In today's age, it has become easier than ever for people to raise their consciousness and tune in to their higher selves and to the spiritual realm. When you have this inner attunement, you do not need to see an outer proof in order to accept the spiritual side of life. Instead, you will have an inner knowing, what many of my early followers called Gnosis, which I referred to as the "key of knowledge" that the lawyers had taken away. Through this inner knowing, you will accept the reality of the spiritual side of life without seeing a material proof. You will realize that there is no material proof for the spiritual reality.

The kind of people I am trying to reach through this website are those who have already matured beyond the point of needing an outer proof. They have achieved some measure of attunement with their Christ selves, and through that attunement they can recognize truth when they see it. They can recognize my vibration, even though I speak through the heart and mind of one of their brothers. These are the true spiritual seekers that I talk about elsewhere. These are the people who have the potential to become the very force that will turn planet Earth around and raise people's consciousness into the Aquarian consciousness.

In closing, let me comment on your remark that “God provides this illusion of separation as a precious gift.” As I explain throughout this website, the sense of separation from God is the major problem on Earth, and I can assure you that it was not created by God as a gift. It is an illusion created by the carnal mind and dark forces.

One can say that your individuality is a gift from God, but your individuality does not necessarily lead to separation. Only when you fall into a lower state of consciousness do you fall prey to the illusion of separation. And at that point you are no longer exercising your divine individuality. That is why you need to attain Christ consciousness before you can fully appreciate and express God’s gift of individuality.
