Question: Do fat people go to hell? What is gluttony? I know gluttony is wrong/a sin; but specifically is a glutton? Is eating meat wrong? Is vegetarian or raw foods the ideal way to eat?
Truth seeker

Answer from Jesus:

Some fat people go to Hell, and some go to Heaven. In other words, a person’s weight is not what decides whether that person will go to Heaven or to Hell.

And by the way, Hell is not as envisioned by most Christians. Hell is a state of consciousness that is based on the illusion that it is possible to create a place that is separated from God. Therefore, Hell is not real and it will continue to exist only as long as souls continue to misqualify God’s energies in an attempt to uphold the illusion that they are separated from God.

I would define gluttony as a disorder, as a psychological imbalance that borders on a mental disease and can become a full-fledged mental disease. A glutton then is a person who has lost control and cannot stop eating, even when it is destroying the physical body.

Contrary to popular wisdom, obesity or gluttony is not a genetic condition, although some people can be genetically disposed towards obesity. Everything that happens in the physical body has a psychological counterpart, and therefore gluttony has a psychological cause. There are two main reasons why people tend to eat too much.

One reason is that people have emotional wounds and therefore feel vulnerable to attacks from the outside world. As a subconscious attempt to insulate themselves from the world, they subconsciously desire to put on weight. This creates an insulating layer and gives the soul an, often subconscious, sense of security. It makes the soul feel that it can crawl into its shell and hide from the world.

This form of obesity, or gluttony, can be overcome by going into psychological healing, either using traditional forms of therapy of some of the many new therapies that have become available over the past few decades. If a person will make a serious effort, it is possible to overcome the desire to insulate oneself from the world, and this will often lead to drastic weight loss. It will also naturally lead to healthier eating habits that will reinforce the weight loss.

However, severe cases of gluttony are a form of addiction. As any chemical addiction, it is much more difficult to break. Once again, an addiction, even a chemical addiction, did not start with a physical cause. It starts with a psychological cause which then, as the chemical addiction is established, spills over into the physical body.

In terms of gluttony, it starts with the desire for protection that I described above. However, in severe cases there is more to it than the soul’s psychological wounds. What can happen is that the psychological wounds of a soul causes the soul to attract outside entities to itself. This can be in the form of disembodied souls, meaning people who have died but whose souls have not moved on into the realms of light as most souls do. You can find descriptions of this phenomenon in several books, including some of the books on near-death experiences. It is also possible that a soul can be possessed by a malicious entity, such as a demon.

I have given some brief teachings about this elsewhere, but you can find several excellent books on the topic. For people who suffer from severe gluttony, or obesity, I would recommend that they do a serious and objective study of this phenomenon and apply proper techniques for overcoming any outside inferences and psychological wounds. This should include spiritual protection as described on this website.

As I explained elsewhere, there will come a time when the collective consciousness of humankind has grown to a level at which few people will eat meat. However, this condition is a long ways off, and therefore it is currently unavoidable, and even necessary, that a large part of humankind eats meat. So from an ideal perspective, one must say that it is wrong to eat meat. However, in the current conditions it would not be right for everyone to follow a vegetarian diet.

Diet is a very individual matter. For some people it is right to follow a vegetarian diet, but for others this could actually be too extreme a diet for their current level of spiritual development. For some spiritually advanced people it could be counterproductive and prevent them from effectively fulfilling the work that they came here to do.

A raw food diet is an extreme form of diet that is suitable only for a very small number of people. Therefore, I do not recommend that people force themselves to follow such a diet. Once again, diet is a very individual matter. I highly recommend that people strengthen their intuition and use my technique for inner attunement so that they can get a feel for what is right for them before they decide to adopt any kind of extreme diet. For most people, it will be best to follow a very balanced diet with a good variety of foods.

I therefore recommend that people stay away from extremes, such as alcohol, caffeine, chemicals, refined sugars and red meats. Sweets give the body a chemical high, and when it wears off, the body craves more. This leads to an unbalanced state and in order to balance it, the body craves meat. So many people are caught in a treadmill of eating excess sweets that have an expanding effect (on the body and the mind) and then eating heavy meats that have a contracting effect. By cutting out the extremes, people can find a balance that is not only healthier for the body but also allows their minds to stay clearer and more focused.
