I fully understand
why the conditions you describe are confusing, and even disturbing,
to many people. However, the reason why these things are confusing to
so many people is that the orthodox religions of the world do not fully
describe God’s laws. Therefore, most people have been brought
up with only a partial understanding of God’s law.
It is correct that the conditions you describe are to a large extent
caused by people’s actions in past lives. You are also correct
in assuming that this is not the complete explanation.
The ultimate law of this universe is the Law of Free Will. God has given
all human beings free will, and neither God nor any member of the Ascended
Host will interfere with that free will. What most people do not understand
is that there are many people on Earth and many dark forces at lower
levels of God’s creation who have no compunctions whatsoever about
interfering with the free will of human beings. Such forces often use
people in embodiment, namely those who are willing to "sell their
souls" for the sake of gaining a temporary advantage in this world.
Over a very long period of time, the unholy alliance between people
in embodiment and disembodied dark forces has created a situation on
planet Earth that is very far away from God’s original vision
and intent.
You must understand that every human being is constantly creating. You
create through the power of your attention. As explained in the Teachings
section, there is a stream of spiritual energy that flows from your
spiritual self into your lower consciousness. You direct that spiritual
energy through the power of your attention. Therefore, you will create
the images and forms upon which your attention dwells. In other words,
God has not created the current injustice on this planet; human beings
have created these conditions.
For thousands of years, forces with no respect for God’s laws
have manipulated people into focusing their attention on imperfect images
and forms. One aspect is that the general population has been manipulated
into accepting the idea that a small elite should be able to accumulate
inordinate amounts of wealth and power. Another aspect is that the economy
has been manipulated to such an extent that it is difficult to prosper
by being honest and moral. People are often forced to compromise spiritual
laws in order to get ahead in the world.
Therefore, you now have a situation on planet Earth in which people
have created a reality that has temporarily suspended some of the laws
of God. God is not mocked, because God knows that eventually all energy
used on planet Earth will be transformed back into its original purity.
However, for the time being certain people and forces have managed to
create a world in which God’s laws and God’s justice are
not fully manifest.
Through this manipulation, the dark forces have managed to avoid some
of the consequences of their own actions, because they have manipulated
the general population into taking upon itself some of these consequences,
some of this karma.
For example, planet Earth currently has a concentration of wealth and
power in the hands of very few people. This concentration of wealth
and power is not in accordance with God’s laws or God’s
intent. Yet, as long as a large part of the human population chooses
to accept status quo, instead of taking action to change the situation,
God cannot interfere with people’s free will choices. Another
obvious injustice is the fact that certain countries have an immense
concentration of wealth and power, whereas many other countries have
people who are starving to death or living in abject poverty. Obviously,
this is not in accordance with God’s vision or God’s justice.
The only way to change these conditions and bring the Earth back into
alignment with God’s laws and God’s justice is for a critical
mass of people to raise their consciousness by walking the path of personal
Christhood. This is indeed what I desire to see happen in the coming
decades, and that is why I have brought forth this website and the book
The Christ Is Born in You.
If a critical mass of people, and we are talking millions of people,
will make a sincere effort to manifest a high degree of personal Christhood,
they will literally be the open door through which God can “put
down the mighty from their seats and exalt those of low degree.”
This action will reestablish God’s justice.
Where do you want your reward?
There is one more cause for the conditions you describe. It relates
to my teaching that you can have your reward in heaven or your reward
on the earth.
Matthew
6:1 ¶ Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen
of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.
Some people have
descended into a materialistic state of consciousness, and they have
no understanding of the Kingdom of Heaven. Therefore, they have focused
all of their attention on obtaining the pleasures of this world. Over
many lifetimes, such souls have developed the skills for acquiring material
possessions or power. Therefore, they often seem to be doing very well
in this world.
In contrast, the people who have acquired a spiritual state of consciousness
are not primarily concerned with obtaining the pleasures of this world.
Therefore, their souls have not acquired the necessary skills, and they
often do not do well in the business world or in the corridors of power.
Yet, as the popular saying goes, you cannot take it with you. No matter
how much material wealth or power you acquire, you cannot take it with
you at the end of this life. However, you can take the spiritual attainment
that you have acquired.
God has given people free will. If a soul chooses to use its energy
and attention on acquiring material wealth and power, then it will spend
all of its energy on obtaining these things. Therefore, those pleasures
will be the soul’s only reward. If the soul uses all of its energy
on the pursuit of material goods, then the soul cannot lay up treasures
in Heaven. Therefore, the soul will receive no reward in the spiritual
world.
On the other hand, if a soul focuses its intention on the spiritual
side of life, that soul will indeed lay up treasures in heaven. Therefore,
the soul will be rewarded in the heaven world, and it will have a much
better position in my Father’s kingdom than the soul who has no
treasures in heaven.
Why do you think I said that it is harder for a rich man to enter the
Kingdom of Heaven than for a camel to go through the eye of the needle?
It is because people who are attached to the things of this world are
not likely to make the free-will choice to pursue the spiritual path
that leads to Christ consciousness. Obviously, such people will remain
stuck in this world for many lifetimes.
You might remember the saying that the first shall be the last and the
last shall be the first. In the spiritual world those who are first
in the material world shall be the last, and those who are last in the
material world, meaning that they are the spiritual people, shall be
the first in the heaven world.
It all goes back to the saying, “Choose ye this day whom ye will
serve.” You cannot serve two masters. You cannot serve God (spiritual
growth) and mammon (the pleasures of this world). Every soul will receive
its just reward. It is simply a matter of what kind of reward you want
to have and whether you want it on Earth or in Heaven. If you want the
highest possible reward, step onto the path of personal Christhood and
follow in my footsteps.
