Question: Master Jesus, When children are victims of abuse, either by other children or adults, they can get an array of confusing and negative emotions. Could you give some advice or guidelines to parents and caregivers who want to help these children cope, e.g. what direction and emphasis to give to all the anger, blame and hurt etc. that both parties are feeling. always grateful A. H.

Answer from Jesus:

It has been said that time heals all wounds. Yet the real magic wand that will heal all wounds is unconditional love. So the best way to heal children of any kind of abuse is to show them unconditional love no matter what has happened in the past. As they grow older, you can begin to teach them about unconditional love and how it makes it possible for them to rise above any imperfections of the past.

I have given some detailed teachings on unconditional love elsewhere. In this context, the most important aspect of unconditional love is that there are no conditions on Earth that make you unworthy of God’s love. That is the message I brought to Earth 2,000 years ago. Unfortunately, mainstream Christianity has not embraced this message, and that is why most adults were brought up with no understanding or experience of unconditional love. So before you can demonstrate and teach unconditional love to children, you have to first heal yourself.

If you have caused children to be hurt or abused, you need to heal the psychological wounds that caused your actions. You might follow the practical steps I outline elsewhere. Yet in the end, you need to forgive yourself, and you can do that only when you accept that God loves you unconditionally. Once you accept God’s unconditional love for your soul, you can become an open door, whereby the ever-flowing river of God’s love can stream through you and wash away the wounds of the children.

When children are abused, their energy fields are scattered, and this easily causes their souls to fracture, as described elsewhere. Once a child’s energy field is open, it can – or rather it will – be invaded by dark forces or imperfect energies. It is therefore extremely important that you call for the spiritual protection of such a child, and I recommend Archangel Michael’s Rosary. As the child grows older, you can begin to take the child through various forms of therapy to heal the wounds in the soul. I talk more about this elsewhere.

Obviously, abuse causes a child to produce imperfect energy that will accumulate in the child’s energy field. This will make the psychological wounds feel more intense and block the healing process. So using spiritual tools to transmute that energy can have a major positive effect on the child’s healing. I recommend Mother Mary’s rosaries, especially the Forgiveness and Unconditional Love rosaries. As soon as the child is old enough, give the Miracle Rosary for Children with the child.

Take note that the Children’s rosary contains the concept of a lower self and a Christ self. These are concepts that can be taught to children at a very early age. Children can also be taught that there is a force of Light inside of them and a force of darkness outside of them. Even young children can understand these concepts because they often experience this intuitively. So it is possible to make then understand that there are dark forces that are seeking to hurt them. These dark forces can use adults or other children around them, and any adult or child can be used as a tool on a temporary basis.

The important lesson here is that these dark forces will attack anyone and use anyone. So the fact that the child was abused was not because the child was bad and therefore deserved the abuse. This is an extremely important concept to teach to children, because children often feel responsible for everything that goes on in “their” world. The reason being that they see themselves as the center of their world—which is true since every soul is the center of its world.

So you need to teach them that the abuse was not caused by the child being bad or having done bad things. It was an attack by dark forces, seeking to hurt the child and working through other people because these people were listening to their lower selves. These forces seek to hurt all children, so it wasn’t just that one child being targeted. This can lead to the next important step, which is to help the child see that the adult or child who performed the abuse was not actually seeking to punish the child. The abuser was being used by the dark forces, but this was only a temporary thing. All people can be used by dark forces when they are under the influence of the lower self. The way out of this is to reach for the Christ self within you.

This can gradually lead the child to understand that the child is not a bad person for being abused, and the person who carried out the abuse is not a bad person for temporarily being under the influence of dark forces. On the contrary, by seeing that the dark forces are behind it all, both the child and the abuser can rise above the lower self. It is the lower self that causes people to do bad things by making them vulnerable to dark forces. And it is the lower self that causes people to feel bad about what has been done to them. The Christ self will help the child forgive itself and others so it can leave the bad feelings behind.

My point is that by gently teaching a child a few of these concepts, it is possible to deflect the child’s anger, frustration, guilt and blame away from itself and away from the person abusing the child. This can then open the door for the healing of all parties involved, especially when spiritual tools are used to truly keep the dark forces from exploiting the situation and creating a lifelong rift between child and adult.

Unfortunately, no method is foolproof, so it is important not to focus too much attention on dark forces or to instill a fear in the child of such forces. This is best done by also introducing the forces of Light, such as Mother Mary, Archangel Michael, myself and the child’s Christ self. The child can then be taught that when it reaches for its Christ self, it will be protected and healed. The child can easily understand that the forces of light are stronger than the forces of darkness—as long as the child or adults do not choose to listen to the lower self.

Of course, for you to teach such concepts, you need to believe them and have integrated the teaching. You cannot be like an adult who teaches a young child about Santa Claus without really believing in him. So you need to be actively walking the spiritual path.

I realize these concepts go beyond what most adults were taught as children, yet this is not because the concepts are beyond the comprehension of young children. Young children can comprehend far more about spiritual concepts than today's educators are willing to admit. So the real problem is that spiritual concepts are not currently part of the “kindergarten curriculum” as accepted by mainstream religion and science. This is, however, a defect that should not stop spiritual people, and it is a defect that will be corrected in coming decades. If you are willing, you can start living the future now, and I strongly encourage teachers and others who work with children to use some of my concepts from this website to create a curriculum to teach all children about the human psyche and how it affects everything they do. This could start by focusing on helping children and adults cope with abuse, but it could easily be expanded to teach all children how to avoid being hurt and how to heal the wounds that cannot be avoided.

The fact that children are not taught about the basic psychological/spiritual reality is a travesty that causes much unnecessary suffering. Therefore, there is a vast potential for people who have experience in working with children to create a curriculum that teaches young children about these concepts. There is no greater service that could be rendered to children than to teach them how to master their own psychology instead of being a helpless victim of it. And this can start at a very early age. It is not a limitation in the learning abilities of children that prevents this from happening; it is a limitation in the teaching abilities of adults and society.

If you are an educator or you are working with children in other ways, I can assure you that the Ascended Host are more than willing to work with those who will walk the path of Christhood and who will then express their Christhood by improving education on this planet. When you realize that the basic problem on planet Earth is ignorance, especially spiritual ignorance, you also see that education is one of the most important human activities. Therefore, you should know that the Ascended Host are eager to work with those who have expertise in the field but who have not allowed their current knowledge to close their minds to a new approach.
