General Questions about Spiritual Growth

Question: Question to Jesus, what is the truth about transmigration? Has the soul to incarnate first in the plant and animal kingdom then it reaches a higher level then incarnates in a human body? Or the soul incarnates straight from the spiritual realm into a human body?

NOTE: This answer was given on December 30, 2007, during the Shangra-la New Years conference in Los Angeles, California.

Answer from Jesus:

The answer, my beloved, is all of the above. In the sense that the vast majority of people embodying on Earth have descended directly from the spiritual realm into a human body, without going through the lower realms.

But as Maitreya explains in his book there is also an evolutionary force that brings all energy back towards its source. So there are people on Earth today who have evolved from the lower realms including from the animal kingdom into the elemental kingdom and then into human beings. But again, the vast majority of souls have descended from the spiritual realm.
