Answer from Jesus:
I know of Sai Baba, as I
am aware of all those who claim to be spiritual teachers on Earth. Sai
Baba is not an incarnation of the one I referred to as Father. When
I used the expression “Father,” I most often referred to
my personal Guru or teacher, Lord Maitreya. I sometimes referred to
my I AM Presence and sometimes to the Creator.
Sai Baba is not a member of or affiliated with the Ascended Host, the
Great White Brotherhood, the ascended masters or whatever you prefer
to call the true spiritual teachers of humankind. For those who at some
point considered themselves followers of Sai Baba, I recommend they
study the following discourse.
I am aware that several gurus in both East and West have claimed to
be the incarnation of one or more deities. While the question of Divine
incarnation is somewhat complex, let me try to give a brief explanation.
The Vedas are correct is saying that there is an over-soul or Atman
out of which all self-conscious beings came. This Atman is an extension
of the Creator’s Being, and thus one can technically say –
as does Sai Baba and other teachers – that all people are Divine
incarnations. Yet I prefer to say that all people have the seed of God
consciousness but that the seed needs to be nurtured until it grows
to full maturity. Thus, I would not say that all people are Divine incarnations
and let me explain why.
As explained in the teaching on your
true identity, you were created as an extension of a spiritual Being.
However, you were created with a limited self-awareness and you are
meant to grow until you attain full God consciousness. In other words,
no one EVER incarnated for the first time with the full God consciousness.
Everyone has to grow gradually.
When you attain full God consciousness, you could theoretically be said
to be a Divine incarnation who is fully awakened and aware of its identity—as
Sai Baba claims to be. The flaw in this claim is that attaining full
God consciousness cannot be done in the material universe and not even
in the lower levels of the spiritual realm. To attain full God consciousness,
you need to rise to the level of the Creator, and then you no longer
incarnate on Earth. In other words, when you reach the level of consciousness
where you can rightfully make the claim to be a Divine incarnation,
you will no longer be on Earth.
As a new co-creator you first have to make your ascension, whereby you
permanently earn your place in the spiritual realm. You can then choose
to remain with the Earth and help unascended beings grow, or you can
choose to move on to higher levels and strive for full God consciousness.
If you choose to stay with the Earth – become a Boddhisatva –
you postpone the attainment of full God consciousness. The simple reality
is that the collective consciousness of humankind is still so low that
no Being with full God consciousness could incarnate here.
The spiritual realm has several levels, and thus there is a hierarchy
of spiritual beings that extends from the lowest spiritual realm –
the one right above the material universe in vibration – to the
Creator itself. Most people on Earth are individualizations of spiritual
beings in the lowest level of the spiritual realm. There are a few people
who originally were extensions of Beings in a higher spiritual realm,
but none are direct individualizations of the Creator itself.
In other words, no being who ever incarnated on Earth has been a direct
individualization of the Creator but has come out of the hierarchy of
beings that started with the Creator. The Creator first manifested itself
as Alpha and Omega and out of them came the next level and so on. My
point is that no Being who truly is a descendant of the Hierarchy of
Light would claim to be the absolute or omnipresent God incarnate—regardless
of the name you would use for God. If the Creator were to incarnate
on Earth, the intensity of its light would simply consume the entire
planet and all souls incarnating upon it. Thus, the light must be stepped
down many times before a spiritual Being can incarnate without disturbing
the purpose for the creation of the Earth, namely the outplaying of
free will.
What muddies the waters somewhat is that several religions – especially
Hinduism – do not use the word “God” the same way
it is commonly used in the West. They use the word God to refer to a
variety of beings from the lowest spiritual realm to higher realms.
Sometimes the word “God” is even used – incorrectly
– about beings in one of the levels
of the material realm. Thus, when a Westerner hears that someone
is an incarnation of a God, he or she often thinks this means the highest
God as the term is commonly used in Christianity. That is why some Westerners
claim Hinduism is not a monotheistic religion. They fail to understand
that Hinduism does recognize a supreme God, namely Brahman, but also
recognizes a number of lower beings who are called Gods but are clearly
seen as below the supreme God.
My point is that some people on Earth are individualizations of Spiritual
Beings that have attained the level of consciousness which in pure Hinduism
is called the level of the Gods. This actually refers to several levels
of the spiritual realm that are right above the material universe in
vibration and not to the supreme God. However, the question is whether
such beings are technically God incarnate or whether they would ever
see themselves as such?
When a Being in the spiritual realm sends an individualization of itself
to Earth, it does not send its entire Being. The individualization does
not have the full awareness of its spiritual “parent.” It
starts with the same limited awareness as every other human being and
thus sees itself as separated from its own higher Being. It therefore
cannot be said to be a Divine incarnation.
A being can eventually attain the Christ consciousness in which it accepts
its oneness with its higher Being, which gives it access to the powers
of that Being. At that point one can be said to be a Divine incarnation
in that your higher Being can work through you (I can of my own self
do nothing. It is the Father within me who is doing the works.) Yet
a person with Christ consciousness would not claim to be God in embodiment
and it would not claim to be a Divine incarnation in the sense that
the Creator has manifested itself directly as that person. Thus, you
would never claim to be the supreme God on Earth.
Even an ascended master does not claim to be God but sees itself as
an extension of a hierarchy reaching up to the Creator. My point is
that there is a subtle, but all-important, difference between seeing
yourself as one with the spiritual hierarchy that reaches up to the
Creator and actually thinking you ARE God. Only the Creator is God,
whereas all created beings are co-creators with God (until they reach
full God-consciousness). The function of the Christ consciousness is
to help co-creators maintain their sense of oneness with God. Thus,
when you attain oneness with God, you exclaim, “I and my Father
are one.” You do not think that you are the Father.
Only a being who is lost in the consciousness of anti-christ –
and who is thus separated from the Creator – can believe it IS
God. Thus, only the ego – in its extreme form which is beyond
the human ego – can make a person make such a claim. A being who
has overcome the ego would never see itself as being God in embodiment
but would recognize the hierarchy out of which it has come. That is
why I am appalled by the Christian doctrine that I was God from the
beginning and that I was never created by God. I AM indeed created as
a co-creator with God and had to work my way up to the Christ consciousness
before I could fulfill my role as the Living Christ on Earth.
My point is that no one ever incarnated with the full God consciousness,
and thus I would say that they were not Divine incarnations as understood
by most Westerners. Thus, I myself do not consider that my last embodiment
as Jesus was a Divine incarnation.
I am aware that Eastern students will view the concept of Divine incarnation
slightly differently, but my basic point is that the concept really
is quite useless. Even if a person is in his or her last embodiment
and has almost attained the ascended consciousness, that person would
not in any way seek to set itself above other people or claim to be
infallible. Krishna, the Buddha and myself did not claim to be God incarnate.
On the contrary, the higher you attain in true spiritual growth, the
more you identify yourself with all life and seek to avoid having people
put you on a pedestal. You want people to discover their own Divinity
instead of worshiping your Divinity. That is why I used the concept
“the Son of Man” about myself and never directly called
myself the Son of God.
I had attained the Christ consciousness, and when you do this, you realize
that you are a son or daughter of God. Thus, you really can call yourself
such, but I knew that doing so would only increase the risk that I was
turned into an idol. My point being that if people really have a high
state of consciousness, they would not call themselves Divine incarnations.
Yet in this age, it is appropriate that many people will call themselves
sons and daughters of God, and when many people do so, it will remove
the risk of idolatry.
I am aware that Sai Baba would argue that my statements here –
as my statements made 2,000 years ago – show I am still in duality.
He says the concept of oneness with God or being God’s Son still
implies a duality, and he has gone beyond duality, which means he IS
God. There are several errors in this reasoning:
-
Seeing yourself as a
co-creator with God is not the same kind of duality as the duality
of the mind of anti-christ that traps most people on Earth—as
I explain in the ego
discourses. Seeing yourself as one with God is not the same
as seeing yourself separated from God by an impenetrable barrier.
Knowing that you are an individualization of God but not the fullness
of God is simply the realism of the Christ consciousness as opposed
to the delusion of the mind of anti-christ.
-
No one can go fully beyond
duality – meaning distance from God – in the present
condition of the material universe. Only in the higher vibrations
of the spiritual realm can one rise into the full God consciousness
and then even only in the highest spiritual realm.
- When you attain the
full God consciousness, you do not lose your individuality and disappear
into God. You retain your individuality and thus you become a Creator
in your own right. The Creator did not create you and have you go
through eons of conscious experiences in order to have you disappear
again. The Creator created you so that you too can become a Creator
and continue the River of Life.
Let us now consider what
makes someone make the claim to be God incarnate? If you will study
my discourses on the human
ego, you will see that it has a desire to set itself up as an authority
that cannot be questioned or gainsaid. One way to do this is to become
the leader of a religious organization and claim to be the highest representative
of God on Earth, as for example the Pope. In the East, the way to gain
this authority is to set oneself up as a spiritual guru and claim to
be a Divine incarnation. Two different approaches to the same goal.
Yet not even the human ego will claim to be God. Thus, such a claim
can be made only by a being who created its ego when it fell
from one of the spiritual realms. Incidentally, such a being had
attained some degree of mastery before it fell, and thus it can easily
display some superhuman abilities, including mind over matter. Because
the ego was created above the material universe, it feels superior to
anyone in this world, and that is what can make the ego make the claim
to be the supreme God on Earth.
What makes people susceptible to following such a person is the ego’s
desire to find a guaranteed path to salvation. Thus, if you are a follower
of a guru who is the divine incarnation, your salvation must be guaranteed.
Your ego can then make you feel that the guru will do all the work for
you, and thus you do not have to confront the ego and strive for real
Christhood. That is what happens to almost everyone who follows what
we might call a “Super-Guru.” I am quite aware that many
Christians have turned me into this kind of super-guru.
In terms of Sai Baba, he has not in previous lives attained the true
selflessness and freedom from desires that is the key to the ascended
consciousness. Nor is he close to this goal in this lifetime, as can
be clearly seen by the way he has set himself up to be worshiped by
his followers, and even the carnal desires that are not transcended.
He has learned the mechanical aspects of manipulating matter, and that
is why he can perform certain basic feats that some people misconstrue
as true miracles. Yet consider the purpose of manifesting ash or useless
trinkets? Is that really what the world needs? Doing such feats is possible
without attaining true Christ consciousness. It is what I referred to
when I said:
For there shall
arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs
and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive
the very elect. (Matthew 24:24)
Consider also the state of
consciousness of most people in Sai baba’s organization, especially
the Westerners who have become codependent upon the guru instead of
striving for the Christ consciousness which some of them are capable
of attaining. This leads them into a state of willful ignorance in which
they ignore the claims about their guru’s behavior or decide that
they would follow the guru even if the claims were proven to be true.
This is what happens in an organization that is focused on one person
and has no connection to the Ascended Host. Thus, the followers become
the servants of the guru rather than the leader becoming the servant
of all. When the blind lead the blind, they shall both end up in the
ditch.
I feel great compassion for the many people who have surrendered their
souls to Sai Baba and others like him. Yet I must also say – as
I do in my discourse on false teachers
– that the only cause is that a soul is unwilling to take full
responsibility for itself and thus wants to follow a guru who can supposedly
guarantee its salvation. Thus, the soul is vulnerable to those who make
the claim to be the ultimate guru. I realize there is little hope that
such people will even read this or will seriously consider the truth
in my words.
Yet for those who are open, start by studying my discourses on the ego
so you come to understand the elements in your psyche that make you
vulnerable to becoming a blind follower. Then use the tools we give
– including the
rosaries – to strive for your true spiritual self-sufficiency
and independence of any guru on Earth, including this website. Life
is too short to be a follower of someone else’s light—or
appearance of light. Discover your own inner light and follow it until
you are home free.
