My beloved Brenda is indeed
serving as one of the messengers who is bringing forth the new teachings
that I desire to give to people in this new age. The book Love Without
End is a worthy offering and contains many teachings that can help
today's spiritual seekers.
When evaluating such a book, always keep in mind that any offering from
the Ascended Host is given to a specific audience, meaning to a group
of people at a specific level of consciousness. Obviously, the consciousness
of the messenger is an exponent of the consciousness of the people we
are trying to reach through that messenger.
What I am saying here is that when you compare certain books and teachings
that are part of the ongoing progressive revelation from the Ascended
Host, you can often find minor details that seem to contradict each
other. Many people get hung up on these differences, and they reason
that any teaching which is not in complete conformity with their own
teaching must be false. This is a limited view that I hope the people
I am trying to reach through this website will be able to transcend.
In fact, I give a very detailed teaching on this in the book Save
Yourself. I explain why spiritual visions can be different, yet
all of them can still be valid. I am not saying that all spiritual visions
are valid. I am saying that it is quite possible that two teachings
can have slight differences, yet both are valid and were inspired by
the Ascended Host.
For example, in the book Love Without End, you find the teaching
that the original sin was judgment. This is also echoed in the Kabbalah
and other spiritual teachings. However, on this what website I explain
that original sin was the sense of separation from God and the decision
to turn away from God.
From a superficial viewpoint, these statements might seem to contradict
or invalidate each other. However, they simply reflect the fact that
a spiritual truth can be understood at different levels of consciousness.
It is true that a large group of souls fell into the material realm
because they misused the divine quality of judgment. The original rebellion
against God was performed by the archangel Lucifer. He judged God and
believed he knew better than God. However, Lucifer adopted this judgmental
attitude because he had developed spiritual pride, and he had developed
spiritual pride because he had come to see himself as separated from
God. The essence of pride is that you feel better than others. How can
you feel better than others when you see yourself as one with God who
is one with all life? Only when there is separation, can there be comparison
and judgment.
So from a certain level of consciousness, it is correct to say that
the original sin was judgment. Yet when you develop a higher understanding
of what caused the judgment, you see that it sprang from pride. So from
this higher level of consciousness, one might say that original sin
was pride. Yet when you go to an even higher level, you see that the
pride originated from the fact that the soul had separated itself from
God. So from this level of consciousness one might say that the original
sin was the sense of separation from God.
Do you see the subtle but all-important distinction? From a superficial
viewpoint, one will reason that the different statements are mutually
exclusive. Yet when you step back from the issue and look at it from
a higher perspective, you see that they simply represent three levels
of a progressively deeper understanding. Therefore, they do not invalidate
each other; they supplement each other.
As for the portrait painted by Glenda, it is indeed a valid image of
me. However, it is not the only possible image of me. As I explain throughout
this website, in the spiritual realm everything is more fluid than in
the material realm. I can take on many different appearances, and I
have indeed appeared to other artists, both today and in the past, who
have painted or sculpted images of me that are also valid offerings
from my heart.
So while it is perfectly acceptable to honor the work done by one artist,
one should never fall into the trap of thinking that a particular work
is the only true image of me. I work with many artists and messengers,
but I give a monopoly to none.
This is a mistake that was made by the Catholic Church 1,500 years ago
and has been perpetuated both by the Catholic Church and many other
churches ever since. No human being or organization ever has had and
ever will have a monopoly on the Living Christ and the truth of God.
If you keep that in mind, you will avoid falling into the trap of swearing
allegiance to a particular outer expression of truth and thereby potentially
cause your spiritual growth to come to a grinding halt.
So please enjoy all of the valid offerings without confining yourself
to any one of them. The spiritual reality is always greater than any
expression of that reality found in the material realm.
