Concerning your first question,
the teachings in the Conversations with God books are not from
God. They are from various beings in the emotional and mental realms.
This does not mean that there are not a number of true ideas in the
books. These ideas originally came from the Ascended Host, but they
were not given directly by us for these books.
Concerning whether other messengers are channeling God's words, it is
impossible to give a general answer to this question. Some people are
indeed channeling the words of God, although there are few of them.
There are also those who believe they are channeling the words of God
but who are truly working with beings in the emotional or mental realms.
These beings might be masquerading as God, but in some cases people's
beliefs are indeed projected onto the beings they channel.
In fact, some people believe they are channeling words directly from
God, but they are actually getting their words from the Ascended Host.
The reason we allow this to happen is that there are indeed many people
on this planet who have grown up in a religious culture that does not
teach them about the existence of the Ascended Host. Such people are
open to contact with the spiritual realm, but because of their religious
programming, they believe that any words from Above must be from God.
Some people believe there are only two types of beings in the spiritual
realm, namely angels and God.
In some cases we allow people to think they are speaking with God because
they have reached a sufficient level of Christhood that enables us to
bring forth valid teachings through them. These teachings will be tailored
to people from the same religious background. It is our hope that both
the messenger and the recipients of the messages will gradually be raised
in consciousness and understanding, so that they can begin to realize
that there are indeed many beings in the spiritual realm.
And I would also like to know if the Ascended Host is the
highest we can reach and if the only way to Christ consciousness is
through the Ascended Host?
The answer to the first part
of this question depends on how you define the Ascended Host. The definition
I normally use on this website is that we are beings in the spiritual
realm who are working directly with planet Earth. We are assigned to
Earth on a long-term – I did not say permanent – basis.
Most of us have taken embodiment on Earth or in other parts of the material
universe, and therefore we have ascended. Technically, a being who has
not taken embodiment is not an ascended being even though it resides
permanently in the spiritual realm.
Yet in the spiritual realm there are no barriers, so the group of ascended
beings who are working with planet Earth are part of the larger Body
of God in Heaven. You can also call that larger body for the Ascended
Host. Obviously, all beings in Heaven are part of this spiritual body,
including God and all Beings of God.
You have so far seen discourses on this website given by three individual
Beings, or Presences,
of God. These are beings that in the spiritual hierarchy are actually
above and beyond the Creator of this universe. They embody the primordial
qualities of the pure Being of God. These beings are not currently a
part of the team of ascended beings working with Earth. You might consider
their discourses as dispensations or guest appearances. Yet as humankind’s
consciousness continues to grow, such Cosmic Beings might indeed begin
to work with Earth on a more regular basis.
The vast majority of people on Earth will not be able to reach beyond
those members of the Ascended Host who work directly with Earth. A few
people are able to do so, and throughout the ages a small number of
people have indeed received valid messages from beings that have positions
in hierarchy that are higher than any of the beings that belong to the
group of ascended beings assigned to Earth.
Concerning the second part
of the question, you can receive Christ consciousness only from a being
who has attained Christ consciousness. This can be your Christ self,
an ascended being or an unascended being with a high degree of Christ
consciousness.
Also about Jesus' answer regarding Hitler in the Conversations
with God book, I personally think that being erased in the sacred
fire would be a minor punishment compared to being eternally tied
to the wheel of karma by the lack of a clear vision.
Yes that is correct, but
you have to realize that neither God nor any member of the Ascended
Host had any desire to punish Hitler. All we desired was to see the
soul of Hitler start the path that would have led it to full Christ
consciousness, causing it to return to the spiritual realm as an immortal
being. Therefore, our only question was whether the soul of Hitler was
willing to start that path or whether it would reject the path. It did
choose to reject the path, and there was nothing we could do about that.
So one might say that for a soul who rejects the path, the second death
is the ultimate act of mercy.
In that respect, the Conversations with God books do portray
accurately the fact that God has no desire to punish anyone. God does
not punish human beings; people punish themselves.
A soul cannot be eternally tied to the wheel of karma. That is why the
second death exists for souls who insist on keeping themselves tied
to that wheel and show no signs of being willing to self-transcend.
