Light is important to everyone,
because light is a universal substance that God used to create both
the spiritual and the material world. Modern science has revealed that
the material universe is made from energy. Light is one form of energy,
and all energy is vibration.
When you combine the findings of modern physics with the timeless spiritual
teachings found on this planet, you can develop a world view which in
essence states that the material universe is made of light that vibrates
below a certain frequency. Beyond the material universe is a spiritual
realm made from light that vibrates at higher frequencies.
This then leads to the obvious question of why most human beings cannot
perceive the spiritual realm. The answer is that most people have descended,
or fallen, into a lower state of consciousness in which their conscious
minds are tuned to (or trapped by) the vibrations of the material universe.
Yet throughout history millions of people have had spiritual and mystical
visions of a realm, or world, beyond the material world. This then shows
us that the human mind has the capacity to tune in to the vibrations
of the spiritual world.
Almost every religion contains the concept that people have fallen into
a lower estate and that they need to come back to their original estate.
Christians have developed the concept that they need to be saved so
that they can enter God’s kingdom, which we now see is the spiritual
realm, a realm made of higher vibrations. So the question now becomes
how a person who is trapped in the material realm can enter the spiritual
realm? The obvious answer is that the key to this transformation is
the light, the higher vibrations, of the spiritual realm.
You can find an important key in my parable about the man who entered
the wedding feast without a wedding garment. The wedding garment is
a synonym for a state of consciousness. This is the state of consciousness
that St. Paul spoke about when he said, “Let this mind be in you
which was also in Christ Jesus.” It is a state of consciousness
in which you have learned to attune your conscious mind to the spiritual
realm. This not only means that you can perceive the spiritual realm,
but it also means that your consciousness becomes the open door through
which the light, the higher vibrations, of the spiritual realm can stream
into this material world.
When spiritual light streams into the world, it fills your consciousness
and the energy field
that surrounds your physical body. When your energy field is filled
with light, you have put on the wedding garment, the seamless garment
that was not made with hands but with God's light. Your mind and energy
field are now filled with the higher vibrations of the spiritual world
and that is what allows you to pass through the veil, the energy veil
(also called evil or Maya), that separates the material world from the
spiritual world.
What is the key to having your mind filled with the light of God? It
is to overcome the lower state of consciousness, which St. Paul called
the carnal mind. As explained throughout this website, this state of
consciousness is dominated by duality and relativity. You think that
everything must be defined based on a relative scale with to opposites,
such as good and evil. When you allow that mind to be in you which was
also in me, you overcome this dualistic view of the world. You literally
attain the single-eyed vision of the Christ mind, and when your eye
is single, your whole body, your whole energy body, will be filled with
light, namely the spiritual light coming from a higher realm.
You see, when you are trapped in the lower state of consciousness, you
will automatically lower the vibration of spiritual light so that it
becomes material light. When you begin to rise above duality, you will
no longer lower the vibration of the light you receive, and thus this
light will begin to accumulate in your energy field, gradually creating
the wedding garment.
One might therefore say that light is important to those Christians
who want to follow in my footsteps and put on the wedding garment, the
garment of the Lord that allows them to enter the wedding feast, meaning
God’s kingdom. One might also say that an essential part of my
mission was to demonstrate a path that leads to a higher state of consciousness.
The key to attaining this higher state of consciousness is to allow
the light of God to flow into your consciousness and consume all lower
energies.
You have heard the saying, “With all thy getting, get understanding.”
Yet understanding is only one side of the coin. True understanding leads
to an application of what has been understood. So when you understand
the importance of light, you must apply yourself and find appropriate
techniques for reaching beyond the material world. You must allow yourself
to become an open door for the light of God to stream into your consciousness.

So one might say that light is important to Christians because light
is the key to salvation. Because people have descended into a lower
state of consciousness, in which they have forgotten their spiritual
origin, they need a transfer of spiritual light in order to begin the
process that allows them to rise above that lower state of consciousness.
When I walked the Earth, I was filled with the light of God. Therefore,
when I met someone or when I preached to the multitudes, I transferred
a portion of the light of God to everyone who was open to receiving
it. This then became the cup of cold water in Christ's name. This then
became the leaven that can raise the whole loaf of a person's consciousness—if
the person follows the teaching in my parable about the talents.
When people have descended into a lower state of consciousness, the
key to beginning the path that leads them home is that they must receive
a portion of light. Because they are trapped in the lower state of consciousness,
they can receive this light only from a source outside themselves. This
source is a spiritual teacher, such as myself. However, there have been
many other spiritual teachers who were able to transfer light.
When a person has received a portion of light, the person must then
multiply that light until it fills his entire consciousness. If you
do not understand this principle, you will bury the light, bury your
talents, in the ground, and therefore you will not fulfill your end
of the bargain.
The simple fact is that God gives you a portion of light as a gift,
but it is your obligation to multiply that light. If you do so, then
God will multiply that which you have, because to him that has more
shall be added. Yet if you do not multiply your light, then God will
take from you the original gift and thus you will miss the opportunity
for growth.
Therefore, multiply your light and let it shine before men. I need millions
of Christians who are willing to multiply the light that I have already
given them and allow themselves to become electrodes of the light of
God. If a critical mass of people, Christians and non-Christians alike,
would allow themselves to be filled with the spiritual light of God,
then you would see a very dramatic change in the conditions on this
planet.
You would eventually see the anchoring of the kingdom of God in this
material world, because the light that people anchor will raise the
vibration of the entire planet. However, this can only happen through
the consciousness of human beings because on this planet everything
is subject to the free will of the people. That is why the new
book makes the point that I cannot save human beings. People must
save themselves, and the key to doing so is the light of God.
