Are
you open to a new approach to Christianity?
The purpose of this website is to help those who are open to finding
a new way to look at Jesus, Christianity, God and the spiritual side
of life.
This website is dedicated to those who have questions or reservations
about orthodox Christianity and are willing to open their minds to a
new perspective, a new approach.
This section is written for the following types of people:
- You have been emotionally
scarred by a fear-based, rigid and judgmental approach to Christianity
(read: hellfire and brimstone preachers). However, you sense that
there must be a more loving side to Jesus and his message.
- You have been disappointed
over orthodox Christianity’s inability to give you answers that
make sense. However, you feel that such answers might exist.
- You simply cannot handle
the overly religious lingo and “vibrations” brandished
about by many orthodox Christians. However, you feel that there must
be a more natural and genuine approach to Christianity.
- You see many inconsistencies
in orthodox Christian beliefs. However, you are open to the possibility
that a higher understanding can resolve such conflicts.
- You grew up in a Christian
culture but left Christianity in disappointment. However, you are
sensing that a different approach might make you take another look.
- You became so disappointed
by Christianity that you abandoned it for science or other religions.
However, you feel that perhaps there is a universal spiritual truth
that transcends all orthodox doctrines and can cast new light on Christianity.
- You have had enough of
the rigid and fanatical approach of orthodox Christians. However,
you suspect that Jesus took a different approach to religion and that
there might be more to his teachings than orthodox people understand.
If
you have had any of these reactions to Christianity, this website can
help you heal your wounds and find answers that make sense.
The
challenge
This section contains teachings that are meant to challenge all Christians
to develop a deeper understanding of the inner message of Jesus. The
inner teachings of Jesus were described in the following quote:
But without a parable
spake he not unto them: and when they were alone, he expounded all
things to his disciples. (Mark 4:34)
This
quote clearly demonstrates that Jesus had an outer (exoteric) teaching
for the multitudes and an inner (esoteric) teaching for his disciples.
While the teachings in this section might seem to challenge your present
beliefs, they are truly meant to strengthen your faith by bringing it
into alignment with the inner reality of Jesus' teachings. Thus, your
faith will be based on the rock of the Christ mind, instead of the shifting
sands of theories and interpretations that spring from the human consciousness,
or carnal mind.
